The Bridgeport High School Department of Music offers a variety of educational arts programs. These programs are dedicated to providing the youth of our high school and community with the means to develop life skills, musical skills, performance skills, build character, teach responsibility and foster teamwork while cultivating the talents of tomorrow’s leaders.

 Band Patrons

The Bridgeport Band Patrons is the parent group recognized by the Harrison County Board of Education to assist the band program. The Band Patrons provide support to the Band in a variety of ways, ranging from chaperoning Scheduled Band Activities to fundraising for student trips. This organization depends upon the involvement of every parent with a student in the Band. 
The Band Patrons meet on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the band room. Monthly meetings are the best way to stay informed regarding all band-related activities.
